7 Questions You Need Answered

You and your professional skills are very important to us and we do not take them lightly. We insist you call five hospital ultrasound departments in your region and get a list of five training resources they'd recommend. Then contact each one on your list and get answers to these seven questions:

1)  How long has your institution been in business?

2)  Is your Program Director nationally and internationally recognized as a leader in the Ultrasound Community?

3)  Is the meeting located in my hotel or is it off site?  What is your class size and instructor/student ratio?

4)  Exactly how much of the class time is spent in SUPERVISED hands-on instruction? Is the Scan Lab open after hours for independent hands-on practice? When and for how long? Twenty-four hours?

5)  Are there any add-on lab or materials fees?

6)  Is breakfast and lunch included in my tuition?

7)  After the class is over, can anyone contact you for free follow-up support, even if they didn't attend a class?

Our Answers

1)  We're privileged to have served the worldwide medical community since 1981. Our Founder has been involved in clinical medicine and ultrasound since 1972.

2)  Yes, and you will work with him in person in class. Keith Mauney has served the Board of Directors for the Society of Vascular Technology and has advised, at their invitation, the U.S. Congress on standards of practice for both Cardiac and Vascular Ultrasound. He has authored articles, textbook chapters, audio and video courses and made thousands of live presentations before an international audience for over three decades.

3)  Classes are always small to ensure that we have the chance to identify your individual needs and prescribe individualized training methods. Though at least half of our Hands-On class time is dedicated to the lab, we keep the lab open 24 hours a day so you can access it after hours whenever you like for independent study. The place is yours; do with it whatever you like. And when our time together in class draws t a close, you’re going to have us at your fingertips for continuing answers and advice, forever, for free… even if you’re not a former student. Can you find that anywhere else?

4)  All hands-on classes dedicate approximately half of your total class time each day to supervised hands-on instruction in small groups. But that isn't all: at each location our secure Scan Lab is open 24 hours a day for your independent practice.

5)  None: Your tuition includes all course materials, scan sessions, continental breakfast, lunch, and unlimited post conference support.  Even after-hours social hour is conducted in the host hotel lobby each evening Monday-Thursday.

6)  Of course, plus everything else above.

7)  Of course, and you can do it all toll-free. It doesn't matter if you've spent time in class with us or not; we're professionals supporting our fellow professionals.

Contact us with your remaining questions: we want to help you find the right resource.
