Are the CME Credits Applicable to My Credentialing?
In nearly every case, yes.
Each activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of the Institute for Medical Studies and Keith Mauney & Associates Ultrasound Training Institutes. The Institute for Medical Studies is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Course time is approved hour-for-hour: each hour of your course attendance equals one hour of Category I CME*. The number of hours approved for each course are listed with each course description.
Category I CME* credit is recognized by the AMA, ARDMS, CCI, State Nursing Associations, ICAVL, and ICAEL for continuing medical education credit.
Presently, the ASRT does not recognize Category I CME* credits, regardless of topical content, for Radiology Technologists.
