Conference Site: Dallas, Texas

Welcome to Dallas. We're ready and waiting for you. Inexpensive, direct flights; less than 3 hours by air from all points in the continental U.S. It is one of the best kept secrets in the country. It is the New York of the Southwest. It is Texas at its absolute finest.

Whether you select it for its economy of access (it's one of the most competitive airfare markets in the country) or its proximity (only 2-3 hours from almost anywhere in North & Central America), your visit with us in Dallas will not disappoint.

Dallas and Fort Worth are twin cities, together boasting a population of nearly 2 million people, spread over a fifty mile square area. The two mark the boundary line between Cosmopolitan East, in Dallas, and the Old West in "Cowtown" Fort Worth.

You'll spend your conference time located right in the middle of both, at the crossroads of the Metroplex, as it's called. Your conference site and host hotel is located less than a mile from the second largest shopping mall in North America: 1.2 million square feet. And world class entertainment, sports, and over 40,000 restaurants are less than twenty minutes away. Your days belong to us, but your after-hours should be balanced with rest, recreation and study. Students are encouraged to lodge here to take advantage of our 24-Hour Scan Lab®, offered on-site.

Choose to rent a car and explore a city that's amazingly simple to navigate in, or leave the driving to your free shuttle or hired taxi. There's a host of support for you to make certain your trip contributes to your success and not your ulcer.

Imagine your own private apartment, located in a campus-style setting. Your suite has a fully-equipped kitchen which has been stocked to your specifications prior to your arrival. Your phone has two incoming lines: you call home on one but you never miss a call on the other. And if you're out, your own personal voice mail takes the message.

In the morning, your day starts with your own newspaper which you read over a complimentary hot breakfast, served in the lodge. After your day is finished (Monday through Thursday) your complimentary social hour, with wine, beer, and hot hors d'oeuvres is already waiting. Retire to your room, which likely has its own fireplace, or unwind in the outdoor pool or Jacuzzi. If your clothes need a touch-up for the new day tomorrow, your iron and ironing board stand ready in your room, or just tell the front desk to valet your laundry....  Speaking of which, when it comes time to do the wash, you won't need to look for a flat rock down by the creek: a secure Guest Laundry is on premises just steps away from your door. Have we missed anything?  Only mention of the in-room hair dryer, so there'll be one less item to pack. And if you forget anything, all the stores you need are less than a block away. But if you need something a little farther away, the hotel shuttle will take you anywhere within a five mile radius, before 7pm nightly. Which leads to thoughts of food.

Though there's not a restaurant on-site here, there's everything (and we mean everything) within safe and secure walking distance, or a short shuttle ride (unless of course you're planning your own feast, prepared at your own hand in your own kitchen). Don't worry about your safety off site: the Las Colinas community was created years ago as a home to headquarters of international corporations... the area boasts one of the largest private security teams in the world, and has one of the lowest crime rates in North America. There you have it: safe, secure, well-thought out and executed... just like the learning experience you've come to take part in.
