Resting and Exercise 12-Lead EKG Interpretation
Cardiac Arrhythmia Analysis
Introduction to Stress Exercise EKG Testing
Almost everyone experienced in cardiology can explain findings on an EKG... but very few have fully understood the 'Why' of the processes underlying them. And in medicine, they why is everything. No matter who you are, you can master the real biological basis for electrophysiologic change and open the door to a new way of thinking about the heart, a route that will take you farther, faster, into every other area in your career.
There are hundreds of courses and textbooks on the subject, many of them excellent in dealing with the subject; this class is going to give you more. It's the only one you'll find that draws a straight line connecting the EKG to the patient's clinical picture. This experience is much more than just creating memory hooks; it's all about getting to know the key processes underlying not only EKG, but mechanisms of ischemia and heart failure, all in a short time frame.
Persons new to the field have developed remarkable confidence in EKG complex and arrhythmia analysis in this setting. Even our physician Guests have often related that this is the first time they have ever really understood why EKG changes occur as they do. Even if you're a veteran of the EKG, you'll pick up some valuable new tools to help train your own students if this essential skill. Remember, Will Rogers once said, "Nobody is smart enough to remember everything he knows."
No matter who you are, you will learn more than you can imagine. It took over thirty years for us to bring this course to the classroom. You’ll take it all home with you in just a few days.
Class is taught in three sections: Underlying Atomic Science and Physiology, Systematic Protocols for 12-Lead and Rhythm Analysis, and Introduction to Stress Exercise EKG. Hours run from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm each day. We’ll use slide-supported lectures, entertaining in-class practice sessions, and directed reading to maximize your training. Eight to twelve Guests usually comprise the class. Your peers will likely include a range of health professionals from EKG technicians to allied health professionals.
Everyone in the field can benefit remarkably from this supportive and nonthreatening approach and gain skills you can put to use daily for the rest of your career.
3 day seminar. Tuition: $900.
