Hands-On Pediatric Skills for the Adult Echocardiographer
For all echocardiographers and adult cardiologists; an essential orientation to ARDMS/CCI registry content.
Coming in 2006, scheduled in concurrent with the American Society of Echocardiography annual conference in Baltimore, this fast track course will bring our unique style of instruction to one of the most complex aspects of echocardiography. The three day conference will provide an uncommonly effective lecture session covering cardiac embryology and practical protocols and case reviews for pediatric evaluation. Following this, interactive hands-on sessions on normal subjects will allow you to concrete theory into immediate practice. Don’t even think of attempting the ARDMS or CCI adult (or pediatric) echocardiography examination without taking this course. EKG Interpretation; Intro to Exercise Stress Testing
For Critical Care Staff, Paramedics, Holter Monitor and Stress EKG Professionals
Coming in 2006, this course will lay the groundwork and protocols for the paramedical professional to recognize—and understand—common 12-Lead EKG and cardiac rhythm findings as well as safely conduct a graded cardiac exercise test. The curriculum is much more than a superficial recitation of facts for memory; in this course we’re going to go the very bedrock of the physiology underlying every aspect and then explain the basis for pathophysiologic findings. Though the topic is often considered a mystery and is therefore treated with superficial explanatory detail, we’ll together break every aspect of every detail down in such a way that it all becomes recognizable and memorable. You will never experience learning this subject in such an entertaining and supportive way anywhere else. Complete tuition and site information to follow; contact us now to be placed on a waiting list.
3 day seminar. Tuition: Pending, enrollment limited.

These are small, interactive classes with cheerful answers to your every question; a refined strategy of teaching that goes far beyond the idea of just getting you a passing grade on a single exam at one point in your career. And there's free post-conference technical support, whenever you need it… on our 800 numbers, for free, forever. Think about it: Ours is a commitment to you that no one else has ever attempted to match.
Class runs from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm over two or three days, depending on content. (see our course calendar for details). We’ll make use of slide-supported lectures along with self-graded tests to stimulate your thinking. You’ll take our comprehensive course materials home with you, and optional videotape materials are available for purchase at substantial discounts. The first two days will be spent focusing on the theoretical and practical principles of physics common to all specialties, and the third day will be spent focused on the physiologic principles specific to your area of interest (vascular, cardiac, etc.).
You may register for just the first two days (including all Physics), just the third day (Physiologic Principles specific to your upcoming registry exam), or all three days. Come and join us: We’ll turn the entire resources of our decades-old institution on you and your mission: To better understand, and remember forever, physics. Learn it for life, not just for the Exam. Your tuition investment is guaranteed.
Specific information detailing each of these courses will be forthcoming. Contact us to be placed on the notification list. |
