-Yara White
Leave knowing what you’re seeing, why it matters, and how to scan the heart with confidence at the bedside.
This course is designed to build your unshakeable confidence. Cardiac ultrasound asks a great deal of you—clinical accuracy, composure under pressure, and the ability to interpret fast-moving anatomy with confidence. Many of us in these advanced clinical roles carry these expectations quietly, yet shoulder them with remarkable strength.
Our goal is to meet that strength with support, and our work is powered by decades of hands-on practice and many thousands of classroom conversations with colleagues who shaped and refined our approach.
From the first scan, we guide you through a clear, structured method that transforms complexity into understanding. You'll feel progress quickly—recognizing cardiac motion with greater certainty, interpreting patterns with less hesitation, and seeing the connections between anatomy and physiology in a way that builds genuine confidence.
This course is a powerful beginning. It opens doors to a lifetime of clinical impact and positions you as a knowledgeable, trusted leader in patient care. And long after you leave the classroom, we stay with you—offering the mentorship, reassurance, and resources you need as your skills continue to grow.
Get here. Learn It. Practice it. Do it. Serve.
Where Cardiac Decisions Begin.
Transform Complexity into Clarity—Why This Course Matters For You.
Echocardiography is not just another imaging modality—it's a dynamic, physiologic tool that informs assessment of function, hemodynamics, and real-time clinical response. This hands-on cardiac course matters because it teaches you to acquire meaningful views under real conditions, interpret Doppler and motion patterns with purpose, and integrate those findings into urgent and routine cardiovascular decision-making. You walk away with competence you can use immediately at the bedside, not just a stack of saved clips.
Ultrasound is the art of seeing what others can't.
We show you that it’s not magic — it’s skill, science, and passion: that you can start from any point.

Our Approach.
The Ultrasound Practice Standards are fixed; how they become skill is not—and that is where our teaching lives.
We teach the standards of practice with precision—and we teach them in a way clinicians can truly use. For more than four decades, our work has spanned bedside practice, clinical research, and national leadership, helping shape how ultrasound is applied across medicine. One principle has never changed: the standards matter, and how they are taught matters just as much.
What we teach is disciplined and grounded—rooted in evidence, decades of hands-on experience, and the criteria clinicians trust to guide patient care. How we teach it is intentionally independent. We are not bound to rigid syllabi or scripted delivery, because real understanding does not unfold line-by-line—it unfolds when complex ideas are translated into the learner’s own way of thinking.
Ultrasound skill is built through guided experience, not passive observation. Instruction centers on live scanning, immediate feedback, and repeated practice so technique, interpretation, and clinical reasoning develop together. Small-group teaching allows faculty to adjust in real time, responding to each learner’s background, pace, and questions.
Core principles are reinforced from multiple angles—visual, tactile, spatial, and conceptual—until they become part of the clinician’s instinctive bedside process. The emphasis is not on memorizing images or following rigid protocols, but on learning how to think with ultrasound in real clinical situations.
What You'll Be Able to Do Clinically.
Our team has spent decades working with nearly every ultrasound system in clinical practice. We understand how each machine is designed, what every control is meant to do, and how to make the instrument support you—not the other way around. And with no commercial ties influencing our instruction, you can trust that everything we share is focused solely on your growth and your patients’ well-being.
By the end of this hands-on cardiac ultrasound course, you will be able to:
Acquire all standard cardiac imaging views reliably, with purposeful probe positioning and patient optimization
Navigate cardiac anatomy in motion, understanding how structure, timing, and physiology interact in real time
Apply Doppler techniques intentionally to assess flow, pressure relationships, and hemodynamics rather than relying on presets
Evaluate ventricular function, chamber size, wall motion, and loading conditions with clinical context
Assess valvular anatomy and function using image-based reasoning instead of rote measurements
Recognize common and critical cardiac findings and distinguish normal variants from pathology
Integrate cardiac ultrasound findings into bedside decision-making with clarity and confidence
Communicate observations clearly to colleagues and referring providers, grounded in physiology rather than jargon.
This course emphasizes understanding what the heart is doing—not just how it looks.

About CME Credit.
This course does not offer CME credit—by design.
That choice allows us to teach with complete flexibility, adapting instruction to your background, pace, and clinical goals rather than a committee's preset agenda.
Our focus is hands-on skill development, clinical reasoning, and lasting bedside confidence. Many clinicians choose to pair this experience with separate CME activities that align with their own professional requirements. If we can help direct you to such low- or no-cost CEM resources, we'lll be delighted to assist.
